we ARE talking about permanent magnets
Alnico is not a permanent magnet
Alnico I-II-III-IV-V is frequency dependant
Alnico has wire wound around it also it produces a magnetic field around it with flux
Dude, you´re talking out your ass so loud I can´t hear your farts... This is my last even semi-serious post in this thread ... you don´t care for knowledge, you make that very obvious, you care only for stirring up ****...
But that you´re admittedly not half bad at. I bet your braces can´t wait for the first high-school bully to punch them through the back of your skull... please send me a pic when it happens.
Fact: A1-9 and "Ceramic" mags used in pickups are VERY permanent... Were they not permanent, no pickup would work without an Generator or battery. They can be gaussed to different strengths, but once magnetized will hold that charge for years after you die trying to tell them to "go out". As further proof: we can remove them, replace them, and the whole time they´re, get this, STILL MAGNETIC!!....
OH MY GOD!!! I´ve just discovered a permanent electromagnet that needs no electricity, where´s my Nobel Prize?:laugh2:
Fact: Wire does NOT produce a magnetic field. That´s what the magnet is for.
Pickups work becasue of a magneticall responsive material oscillating in the flux field created by the magnet and directed by the poles... the oscillation causes changes/ fluctuations in the field, these changes are picked up by the coil, and by principle of induction turned into electric current.
You have no idea what you´re talking about, just really too bad that you don´t want an idea, either...
Anyone have an african swallow and a coconut??
