Leather-Free Guitar Straps?

Does anyone have any experience with leather-free guitar straps?

I'm trying to find a few straps made without any leather (even the popular nylon ones have leather ends). As far as I can tell, I have two choices:

Couch Guitar Straps
or
Planet Waves Beatles Straps

Does anyone know of any other options? I have one Beatles strap already (Revolver) and I like it, but I've read that the vinyl material can react with nitro finishes...which means I don't want to use it on my Gibson. I don't know if the Couch straps have that issue or not.

I have two Couch straps and they're great. Sturdy, good looking and great length too.
Only small drawback is that, on some shirt fabrics, they are a bit slippery.
I highly recommend them.

I once had a Naugahyde doll. I sold it for 20 dollars. That same doll is worth 800 dollars today.

anyway, get a Naugahyde Strap.

I have a couple of Couch straps. They're great. Made well, comfy and good looking. Here is one of them, made from an old stock vinyl material made for reupholstering Cadillac hardtops:

Thanks for all the suggestions. Does anyone know if the Couch material reacts with nitro, the way that neoprene guitar stands do?

Mate , cows aren't an endangered species and no extras will be killed for your guitar strap. If you were talking snake skin or some rare hide i'd totally support you but i don't think anything feels as good or lasts as long as a leather strap. There's some really nasty stuff used in the production of vinyl so in a sense every animal is at risk due to the polution released.

I like Perri's non-leather straps (nylon or cotton). They are a plain-old strap, they are cheap, they don't have leather ends (though the company does make certain models with leather ends), and they are made in Canada. The ends don't seem like they would react with nitrocellulose finishes, and I have had no issues yet. I think mine were something like four bucks a piece at Guitar Center, and there haven't been many straps I've liked better.

You can buy a hemp strap from Levy's. If not then go onto guitar center and you can get a basic strap for around 2 bucks (leather free).

I've had no reaction with my guitars so far. However, I don't leave my straps on my guitars when not playing so they've only been exposed a few hours at a time, not days/weeks...

Oh, I should also say: Couch customer service is second to none. The owner of the company answered multiple emails, ultra-fast and was very nice... I can't recommend these straps and this company enough.
