Led Zep's "Tangerine" cover

Okay, my Line 6 Guitarport is really poor for recording acoustic guitars, but I did this with it anyway. So excuse the poor guitar tone.
I used my new USB drumkit, which I'd been learning to play for about two hours when I recorded it.
Oh, and I'm no singer either, but wanted the vocals on it so did them myself. And on top of that, I've never really practiced using the slide!

With all the excuses out the way, here it is, I wasn't gonna post it because of the poor tone etc, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it.

Re: Led Zep's "Tangerine" cover

Ive played this song alot live in front of crowds over the years. Cool cover dude! the recording sounds very 60s mixed :)

Re: Led Zep's "Tangerine" cover

Tightened up a wee bit, that would go down real well with a live crowd.

Nice take on the electric section Dio.

Re: Led Zep's "Tangerine" cover

Thank you! :) The Toneport is great for recording distorted, heavy guitars, but, on my computer at least, it's not so good for recorded acoustic or "quiet" parts. But it's not too bad.

Re: Led Zep's "Tangerine" cover

Turn the vocals up man. They're not as bad as you probably think they are.
