Lefty P Bass pick up orientation

Hi all,
I'm planning on installing SPB-3 Quarter Pounds into a lefty Fender Player 1 Series P Bass. Does the orientation of the picks matter for lefty basses? I searched and could not find any info on this. Thank you in advance.

Nope, I have a right handed P Bass with "lefty" orientation. The orientation doesn't matter nearly as much as with a Strat bridge pickup.

The two coils should be identical, electrically there is no need to reverse them.
