Lefty ProTone Strat Body Score

My son actually owns a ProTone Strat that we bought for him new..They were only made between 96 and 98...Story goes,Fender stopped production on these because the guitars were competing with the American Standard models at the time..As far as I Know,these were all ash body guitars made in Korea...

Anyway...Got this lefty body today for $100 plus shipping...Not sure if it's white like my son's or creme? I don't currently own an ash body strat...Maybe I'll repaint it fiesta or candy apple red?

Notice the body pocket stamping of Dec.96.

Looks creme colored to me in these photos?

That's one of the prettiest strat colours ever, IMO.

I wouldn't.

That's one of the prettiest strat colours ever, IMO.

I'll see how it looks after I buff it out...I'm still wanting a red body colored strat...Sold my Crimson Red American Deluxe...Surf Green and Sonic Blue are favs also!

Here's my son's ProTone Strat that we bought new,so we know quite a bit about the series..Starting to be worth just a bit more money now..Sleeper deal guitars!

The Squier Pro Tones were really great guitars for the money...that blonde wiht the tort guard and RW board is a KOOL LOOK!

I've not even received the body yet Christian....Lol....Yeah my son's guitar is all original(even the pickups)...The weakest link with this guitar.Nice axe though.

Us leftys have no time to ponder on a good deal....Just have to grab it and explain later! ;o) I know alot about the ProTone strats and the ash bodies,providing it is a ProTone body? The body is stamped 12/96 and that series was made from 96 to 98..Just hope I didn't think I got a great deal and got ripped off....Lol...

If you look at my avatar photo...That is an original version Highway 1 Saphire Blue transparent lefty body that I also grabbed via E Bay...Love that strat and it's a parts mongrel strat also..
