Legacy + Spina modded TS-9 = AWESOME

Xeromus

Tone Ninja
I don't play my legacy much in my apartment because it's so loud. But everyone's gone today. I'm goosing the lead channel with my Spina modded TS-9 and this thing rocks. Balls, chunk, smooth liquid singing leads. I'm pretty pleased with it right now. :headbang:

Hey...thanks for the posting brother, glad you like the TS9...

Well I was always happy with the pedal. The amp I'm usually wishy washy about. I got a killer tone out of it today. The "thing" I was referring to was my amp. :laugh2:

The pedal sounds great through any amp I use it on.

Ugh I need to get this done!

Hey John, can you mod that cheapo TS-7 to 808 Specs? Or even better, Maxon OD808 or 820, with true bypass?

I don't mess with true bypass because I feel the FET circuit works fine...And yes I've brought many a TS7 to a higher level...My opinion on what a higher level is anyway? :smack: :laugh2:

If you are running alot of pedals,it's best to invest in a buffer in front of your pedals....As a rule though, the Boss and Ibanez FET flip flop circuit works fine.

You might be able to do a search on the TS7...I've done quite a few of em..
