If you are thinking about getting a Tokai make sure that you get one which is made in Japan, some of the newer ones have been made in Korea and although okay are not as good or sought after than the Japan ones.

You may have difficulty getting one as some have said because of the copyright issues but check out the Tokai Forum (see link below) as some of the guys sell there and you will get a feel for them. Good luck

Agile makes a great LP copy. I've got one of the double cuts with a Jazz/C5 combo. Sounds great, looks great and plays great! I also changed out the pots to CTS 500K's (push/pulls).

Why not get the real deal, a used Gibson LP Studio goes for about $600 to 700.
