Les Paul looks fake to me

I bought a Chibson at an auction, it looked, played, and sounded terrific.... But the bridge was Chinese and so were the pots, so I got my money back. The local sheriff's office seized it at the behest of the Customs Office at the airport.

Pretty nice looking attempt.

From what I have heard the headstocks are more prone to breaking than real Gibsons.

The dead giveaway is that the fretboard isn't ebony, not even sure it's rosewood.

It's dyed.
Unless it's a single woman selling off her ex's collection ... I could never imagine buying a Les Paul at a yard sale
