i've been looking for the same thing for a while. there are very very few that i have seen in the past the ZW as mentioned being the only new one i know of. i was thinking of just having a studio modded with a maple board and adding binding to the neck and body...still cheaper than ZW camo and custom shop.

There are a few Epi Pauls w/ maple boards...the Zack Wyld and the John Connolly come to mind...

They used to put maple boards on some types of Les Pauls in the '80s, but discontinued the practice. I saw one on Gbase awhile ago. It would take hunting, but if you could find one used, obviously it would likely be alot cheaper than a new custom shop deal.

Here's an example from Gbase. Maybe it's the one I saw before. If I had the money lying around I'd snap this one up. It even has a refret ( I can't play the average Custom with the short frets very well ).

Ohh man every time I hear maple board and Les Paul I think of the awful looking thing I saw at Gordon Smith's workshop a while back...

Someone had ordered a Les Paul bodied, reverse Strathead all maple necked guitar.

I remember seeing some of those around in the 80's..... I also think in the late 70's there was a few Maple fingerboard LP's...... My LP Deluxe has a Maple neck with a rosewood board .... It's a pretty bright sounding lp.... i would imagine an LP with a Maple Neck like a lot of Customs are with a maple board would be a really bright combo....

Gibson was keen on maple in the 70’s. This one’s not, though you can find an all maple construction LP Custom.

i think that lp looks awesome, but as far as i know there aren't many lp's with maple fretboard and necks.

Not technically a LP- though a Gibson Marauder would be a thrifty option.
