took all of 2 minutes to install.

Angles are surely fixed coming out of the nut. I'll give it some time to see how it helps or not.

I can appreciate the engineering (inexpensive, no new holes) even if not the aesthetic. I'm assuming there will be a low-profile alternative shortly.

I honestly don't dislike that as I thought I would.

What is the material like? Is it slippery so that the strings don't bind?

Also, high five on the blacked out Gotoh hardware on a satin Gibson headstock.
