It is ironic, because there were about 4 players
that used an Off white to almost Yellowed LPC around that time.
Mick Jones of the Clash, Steve Jones of the Pistols.
I saw lindsey buckingham with one in a video, 77 - 79.
Hair Boy, Micheal Bolton has a "hard rock' video in 1979.. very funny.
and Don Dokken in a 1983 Live German Video.
So Rhoads and the Jones' really were the only dudes playing
non Black LPC's or Sunburst Standards. Mick played a Black one also.
Les Paul also...but different genre and period.
Ronson's was a top stripped to the clear Maple.
Vintage Guitar Magazine had picts of EVH with one,
circa 77 - 79. Of course is was not stock looking.
Always loved that look..but the Black & Gold is a Killer look as well.
