Yeah the one Ed mentioned or since it's a one pickup guitar you could always spend a bit more and get an antiquity.

And you can always tune it by swapping magnets.

That pup is a hummer. Can't imagine that they can get the P-90 tone Leslie had from a hummer.
I would stick with a real P-90.

He has never sounded as good as he did on "Mississippi Queen"---He has used lots of different things since then. He was going through a Sunn PA head---

Upgraded one of my 51's w/SH-2B & Vintage 67 Strat Neck p/u. Would like to modifiy other 51 for Leslie W's sound; Is this an exercise in futility (was looking at possible Black Back + Single Coil Combo), or better to attempt it with p/u change to my Studio Satin, or begin anew w/SG per your previous post? Any good advice is appreciated-not wanting to waste $ or mess up functioning instruments needlessly. Thanks for any time & consideration.:welcome:
