I honestly do not have much experience with things outside Duncans, Dimarzios, Gibson and a few EMG's. With that said, i do have a early 90s Hamer Diablo with a BG "Dark" set. Very good sounding-warm, medium output and work great in bright guitars. I have a Suhr DSH in a Charvel Henrik Danhauge, but I dont have enough time with that swap to give a genuine opinion.

The various Wolfetone PAFs are definitely worth a try. I've been impressed, and I'm not easily impressed.

I'd love to try the Marshallhead. I hear lots of good things bout that one. But you can custom-order those potted, right? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't dig it unpotted.
