Thanks. Got a pearly gates neck, custom custom bridge, upgraded the hardware to chrome from gold, 3 push pull pots (split neck, split bridge, parallel/series), strap locks, graph tech nut. I think that's all. It's really a beauty, and after playing it for so long the neck is my standard.

The 1987 Les Paul Custom is literally the guitar of my dreams... but the green SG-X and Les Paul Special are strong competitors.

I love these guitars so much that I only play them at home and I have a separate collection of Mexican Fenders and Epiphones that I use for gigs. I would become a comic book supervillain bent on revenge and destruction if anybody tried to steal my precious Gibsonses.

Since upgraded with a phenomenal set of Sinbucker "7th Sin" Alnico IV pups wound by Chris Carter @ Sounds Of Sin & a 'lil Screamin' Demon in the middle.

I'm guitarless at the moment but I'm waiting for two guitars to arrive in the mail. I'll post some pictures when I get the chance.

It's kind of hard to pick a number one for me, for instance: some songs are fine in standard tuning, other songs require drop d tuning and heavier tones... so there's no number 1 really, just a different variation on the same guitar for different sounds.

Thanks! Was a limited run from 2002 with a mirror guard and truss rod cover. (hard to see in the pic) I added the chrome rings. for pickups, Im currently running a Duncan Distortion in the bridge (used to run a Custom 8) and a 59b/4 in the neck. (59 bridge model with an alnico 4 mag)
