Here's my Fender 1952 AVRI Telecaster I bought brand new in 2006 during Fender's 60th anniversary. It's my first and only Telecaster guitar which I really love and I dig the retro vibe to it. It's a real player.

I’m a sucker for a black guard on a Tele

I guess my original post got stuck somehow, so here's the pic for what it's worth - I played the non-Squier MIM version of this at a Guitar Center the other day: Identical but for the three-ply guard and better Standard tuners (still no string-through.)
I'm not a Tele perfectionist so I don't care to mod it:

08 American Standard with a Warmoth mahogany/ebony neck.
This one started life as a Mexican FSR BSB. It now sports an American Standard Neck, Fender 52 reissue pickups and a Gotoh six sadle bidge.
Fender Special Edition Koa
Modified G&L Blues Boy Tribute. Reshaped headstock, Seth Lover neck pickup, Gotoh six saddle bridge and Elektrix wiring harness and components.

My only Tele: a Warmoth Roasted Swamp Ash with Roasted Quartersawn Maple neck, medium jumbo Stainless Steel frets, 9.5" Radius, 1 11/16 nut, Bill Lawrence L45S and L48T pickups. Extremely versatile guitar.

Thx; picked up the Kramer Classic II Tele Body and broke down a couple I just assembled to put the Maple Neck on the Classic II.
On/Off x3 and Kramer Blower Switch that cuts everything out of circuit but the bridge HB if I recall correctly.

Mine:
2013 MIM FSR that I got in a trade with a guy on CL.
With the exception of a set of Callaham compensated saddles, it’s stock.
I’m contemplating a set of pickups but I’m not sure if I want to sell it. The nut width on this neck is too narrow for me and I’m not sure I want to spend the money on an aftermarket neck. Time will tell.

Wiring is non standard. Mini DPDT on-on-on between pots gives series/parallel/split for the neck. Vol pot PP gives Artie's coil swap and tone pot PP gives combined OOPs and series. Many very usable tones can be obtained.
Pups are from Irongear Blues Engine ..A4 in the neck; Tesla Shark A2 Slash copy in the bridge
Frets have been levelled and polished with a lot of attention to a good round to the fret ends.

70s Mighty Mite 6-saddle brass bridge
I originally assembled the guitar with a set of black Gotoh SG38 tuners because they were all I had lying around. I'm nearly done swapping the rest of the hardware to black, the only things left are a couple screws and the bridge (not changing that).

Fender CS54 in the neck which I’m liking and a custom made Q pickup (tapped 6.6/3.3DRC) in the middle which was the cheapest custom tapped I could find and also sounds good. Bridge has the standard Fender CS Broadcaster. 4 way switching with tapped middle and bridge in series position. Mini switch to add middle in parallel.
I’ll update later with my Jazz Partscaster.

May as well mention I inherited this one from my dad (well, the non stock-photo version of it.) It's a pretty awesome guitar - but the fretwork is somewhat short of a 'real' US G&L. I leave it at my mom's house when I want something to pick up and play.
I'll have three black G&Ls after my F100 refin is done
