Let's see some telecasters( telecasters only)

Re: Let's see some telecasters( telecasters only)

MIM Fender Partscaster:
Blacktop Tele neck
MIM Standard body
SM-1N Firebird neck pickup
STK-T2B Hot Stack bridge pickup
500K pots, .022uf orange drop wired 50s style
70s Mighty Mite 6-saddle brass bridge

I originally assembled the guitar with a set of black Gotoh SG38 tuners because they were all I had lying around. I'm nearly done swapping the rest of the hardware to black, the only things left are a couple screws and the bridge (not changing that).

Finished blacking out the hardware yesterday:

It's still a bit of a misfit, but it looks better in person than in these (not) great photos.

Finally, a thread for me!

Fender AV52 "Thin Skin" Wildwood Guitars limited edition. Has 9.5" radius neck, medium frets, and a SD 59 in the neck. Don Mare 0038 bridge.

This one began life as a Fender MIM Standard but it's heavily modded. Neck is from a Road Worn 50's. Neck pickup is an SD 59 and an SD Broadcaster in the bridge

This one is the neck that used to be on the Sunburst one above. Basically a partscaster. Body is MIM Fender. Has a Don Mare S-Telly pickup in the next. Fender 52 in the bridge. I've got a 4-way switch on this one too.

Parts build that's my tribute to a 60's Tele. Neck is from a 60's Baja. Body is by MJT and the cool part is it's semi-hollow (like a thinline except no f-hole). Has Fender Nocaster pickups and a 4-way switch.

My Esquire parts-e-caster. Mighty Mite body, Warmoth Strat neck. Started with a SD Broadcaster, currently has a Rumpelstiltskin Black Rope that's overwound (a very sweet yet nasty pickup) and soon to have a DiMarzio Chopper T installed. The 3-way has the Eldred Mod on it (1 - no-tone, 2 - tone, 3 - cocked wah). that will be changed to series/split/parallel when the Chopper T is installed. I might change the tone cap to .047 at the same time. Not sure yet. Will probably play it as-is with the .022 and go from there.
