Let's see some white strats with non-white pickguards

I don't care what color they are, as long as it's not white!
I'm trying to get some ideas and see what looks the best!

The guitar on the right has a non-white pickguard for you. It's a 3-color sunburst with a tortoise-style guard. Looks really nice with the black knobs and pickup covers, I think.

I think forum bro scottish has a white one with the Warmoth brown shell guard that looks pretty sweet, too.

I saw this material and I wasn't sure how good it would look on a white strat
but it looks good!

DazH - Could you tell me what kind of guitar this is? (you posted it at 06-04-2009, 10:54 PM)

I just bought my first guitar - it looks very similar, except it has a maple neck. Only thing is, the sales guy couldn't tell me much about it - let me explain: I was on my lunch break and wandered into a music shop. They had hundreds of guitars and I thought I'd try a Yahama Pacifica as a good starting point. I asked to look at guitars that would be 'versatile' because I'm a complete newbie and can't even play a chord yet.

The sales guy said he had a different option I may want to consider - it was an Indie Guitar and it had been marked down from AU$900 to AU$250, it still had the shrink wrap on the fake walnut pick guard but they had lost the box, the booklet and pretty much everything aside from the guitar itself. I had the sales guy play it a bit, I liked the sound it made so I bought it because it seemed to be a good price and a reasonable "first guitar". Only thing is that I have no real information about it, other than it's an Indie Guitars "S Type" maple in Antique White Satin (according to my receipt), and I'd like to know a little more :)

Billy Corgan inspired Strat with a smoke mirror pick guard

Is cream colored okay, or do you just want "white white?" I have a Strat that I've had black, single-ply white, and gold anodized aluminum guards on over the 20 years I've owned it. But the guitar itself is this really ugly sickly cream color, so I don't know if the pix would help.
