I've been so into my electric guitars lately that I sometimes forget how much I love my acoustics. I actually have 4, but the other 3 are stored away at the moment. Here's my favorite, though... "Holly" (a 2002 Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CS257 in Flamed Green Burst).

This guitar just plays and sounds so nice, and she's stunning to look at. Ovation's pre-amp is sweet, so it sounds great (very natural) when amplified.

C'mon... let's see what you've got!

Mine is nothing special, but since I've got it, I barely touch my electrics. It was $420 at Guitar Center and worth every penny. I've been playing a lot of folk music lately so it gets plenty of mileage.

Spent my financial aid change check on this in 2002. I don't play a ton of acoustic; this one mostly gets used when I'm working on lyrics or general writing.

Love Taylors, BloodRose. The other guitarist in my band just got one a couple of months ago (don't remember which one). They're the only ones that could turn me from my Ovations! [emoji1303]

Didn't you just get that Takamine recently, or am I thinking of someone else? I have a 12-string Ovation as well, and I love it, but it's in its case with no strings waiting for me to get it repaired... the top is coming loose from the bracing around the soundhole. [emoji20]

Nothing fancy. $50 off craigslist.


Oh, and the guy threw this one in for free. Apperantly his kid tried to paint it with a brush. It sits in a soft case, I haven't figured out what to do with it. It might just end up being the camp guitar.

Loved 'em! I've been known to play "Turn the Page" on acoustic myself... great rendition!

Never heard "Pencil Thin Mustache" before, but it seems fun to play!

Here is my one and only acoustic: a custom OM size by John David Scott guitars out of Vancouver, BC. Even though it's an OM, it's the loudest acoustic I've ever owned, and it sounds like a choir of angels

Thanks!! I love my Taylor! Yes, you are correct.. I did just get the Tak.. Struggled with the idea of sending it back as it has some issues in the beginning. Had to do some tweaks to the truss rod as it was fretting out. I wanted to get the new 100 series Taylor 12 . The price was close tween that and the normal price of the Tak. If that woulda been the case, no brainer.. But I got the Tak on sale for $299. I wasnt sure how much Id actually play a 12, so I wanted to stay cheap. Once I take care of some other stuff, Im going to sell the Tak and get the Taylor though

Well done!! I LOVE Turn The Page.. Used to listen to Live Bullet on 8 Track growing up.

OMG on that brushpainted guitar... on the control plate too.. Is does look kinda 1960s tho..
