When did they offer the eclipse with the gibson tone/volume layout?

They still do, but not for the US.

I don't own an ESP or LTD, but if I could pick one guitar to qualify for this thread, it would be the ESP Jeff Hanneman model with the Kahler bridge.

Yeah, it is! Came with 59/JB, earvana nut, tonepros bridge. Totally CRUSHES my Gibson studio in playability, staying in tune and sustain..

Why did you turn over the Gus G so quick?? How was the balance with that one? My LTD is an AMAZING player, but it is alil headstock heavy
