the only thing i know about this is its not its origional neck. i got it from a mate for £30.

I also have an Epiphone explorer which is for sale.

i exclusively use those dunlop d-38 straps too. i love em. i got 3 black ones, a blue flame, a gray flame, and a gray camo. theyre really comfortable and strong as hell

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

oh and on a sidenote, i just figured out how to decrease the resolution i think it is on my camera tonight, so the pictures arent enormous and get all choppy lookin when i shrink em down to regular size, so expect new pics soon

Nice guitars Jeff. :fing2:

The cow looks well impressed. :laugh2:

The cow was indeed impressed, although somewhat frustrated trying to play with hooves :laugh2: So Simon, I finally got the picture of the SG to you (a bit round about, maybe!). Glad you enjoyed them.

'ere be mine:

DSCF7505.jpg

top row:

the mockingcaster: warmoth mockingbird body with ibanez roadstar II neck (originally had a mim tele neck, but the ibanez neck was just lying around and i liked it better). jb/jazz II 5 way crazy switching one volume.

'96 mij fender mustang reissue. everything is stock but the switches.

green tele: '92 mim poplar body, 86 cent acrylic finish,'96 '62 reissue strat neck, quarter pounder in the bridge, '59 in the middle, sd vintage p90 (b) in the neck. one volume, one tone, 5 way standard switching, volume push/pull pot splits humbucker, tone push/pull pot turns bridge pickup on with others.

frankenstrat: alder carvin strat body, ibanez roadstar II neck. superdistortion bridge, air zone neck. 3 way switch, one volume, one tone, miniswitches split humbuckers.

copper tele: bought this from a forum member. originally it was a dual humbucking tele with regular pickguard with super d in bridge and paf pro in neck. alder body, mij neck. i put a '72 style pickguard on it from warmoth and added two pots as well as put a duncan '86 alnico II pro humbucker in the neck. did the cheap acrylic job on it as well. since i took that pic i've traded the humbucking bridge for a standard tele bridge and i'm awaiting an antiquity II tele bridge pickup i won on ebay to arrive so i can finish it.

bottom row:

bass: '01 fender mim deluxe pbass something or other (can't remember the exact name). quater pound for p bass in the middle, sd hot for jazz bridge/neck that i fused into a humbucker in the bridge. volume pot for p pickup, dual concentric volume pot for each coil in humbucker, one tone.

lp: bottom of the barrel epi les paul that was given to me by a friend. i hacked it up and moved the 3 way switch to the upper bout, made room for more pots (2 volume, 2 tone) and put in a dimarzio tone zone in the bridge and paf pro in the neck. i haven't gotten this guitar working since i received it over a year ago. i need to get back to work on it.

if anyone wants pics of the individual guitars let me know.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

d'oh! i forgot all about my acoustic! i'll post a pic of it later.

i also have my first bass back home, but it lacks electronics.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

agh, i love the look of your pacifica so much rainmaker, its really sweet lookin, how do you like it ?

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

I think the best way I can sum it up is that it sounds better than it looks, and it plays better than it sounds! Bloddy cheap ass guitar too, either Pacificas are top quality, or I got lucky somewhere, lol.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

Mmm, its a middle-of-the-range Pacifica. The higher end model comes with aftermarket pickups, SD or Dimarzio I forget.
