Re: Let's see your Guitars.

XSSIVE, please don't ruin that tele with a black matte pickguard. I think it looks great without one at all.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

ruin it??? i bought it with the intention of adding the guard to it to fit a mini-bucker in it...i also ordered a red pearl guard (in case i want to spice it up) for it too if that makes ya feel better haha...with the matte black, chrome and pewter color...i'm pretty sure it's gonna look sick when done...don't worry i plan on testing it out before i start drilling holes hehe. i love it how it is but it's a bit bland without the guard...i buy all guitars with intent to modify them since no one makes a guitar that is "me". also i don't play typical "tele" music thus why i put hot rails in them (i am the anti twang lol)...i find them to be great guitars for metal with a hot rails they just seem comfortable to me with a killer crunch.

Now those are what I call In-Lays!!!

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

lol skh...to be honest that's wht drew me to the guitar while walking through guitar center...i saw strippers and i was lovin' it. i had never played a schecter before so i plugged her into a mesa dual rect. turned up the gain and was sold. It's actually my main guitar, duncan designed pickups and all (odd i know but i got lucky with a good set as i mentioned) i'm tempted to change them to real duncans but also iffy about it b/c i am happy with it now. plus it has a push pull coil tap which makes sound variations plentyful.

gearjoneser...oh man i want that burst strat bad...wanna sell it hehehe...i'm in love!! verrrrry sweet!!

This guitar is a rare reverse metallic blueburst strat, on which I added a Fender engine turned aluminum guard, Graphtechs, and it now has the same kinda guard with HSS config. Trem C-5/2 Antiquity Surfers. I need a better picture of it because it really looks better in person.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

Who am I kiddin'. Y'all seen my sh!t b4.

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

i'm familiar with the blueburst strats and have been looking for one to buy but they are hard to come by. yours looks amazing with the engine turned guard...i think i may order a S/S/S one to replace the diamond plate one on my yellow strat!

Re: Let's see your Guitars.

Jolly how do you like your epis compared to your gibsons, your goldtop in particular? I LOVE goldtops and I was thinking about getting an epi to fill my lust

Does his SP1 stay in tune...b/c i gotta be honest mine doesn't stay in tune for crap lol i bought it b/c i am a fan of todd mcfarlanes art work and thought it would be a cool guitar to own...but since it won't stay in tune well due to the crap lo-trs ibanez trem i don't play it often. i think i need to either block the trem or find one to replace it with.

ex...yup i love shiny stuff hehe i'm a car guy so anything chrome or polished turns my head so the mirror guards work for me!!
