Liberator split coil wiring

Hello all! First time poster, but long time SD user.

I am preparing to install a set of JB/Jazz Humbuckers in a Jackson RR.

I am trying out a Liberator, however looking at the wiring diagrams for my setup, Tje liberator

Welcome to the forum!

The Liberator is a cool thing. It essentially makes it super easy to sap pickups, once it is soldered in.

Oh Jeez, My first post didn't finish...lol.

My confusion is that the Liberator wiring diagram shows the Grren/White wrapped together and tied off. Not connected to anything.

The Normal wiring shows Green/White going to the ground on the Volume and Tone Pots.

Which diagram would be correct?

It's green/bare in both instances (not white). Green & bare are your grounds. The Liberator is grounded by the switch, and the ground wire coming from the bridge. In the diagram, I don't see a ground coming from the tone control (maybe I am missing it). If there isn't a ground from the back of the tone pot, you can run a wire from there to the solder pads on the back of the Liberator.

Thank you for your reply. I meant bare, not white.

In the Liberator diagram, looks like the tone ground is going to the output jack.

I am still confused about the Green/Bare wire connections. The liberator diagram shows them twisted together and taped off, connected to nothing., while the normal configuration has them going into the Tone and Volume pots. Both diagrams are for coil split, the only difference is the Liberator.

So, do I tie the Green/Bare off, Or connect them to the tone and volume grounds?
