Like a Rio BBQ, but a hair less compressed/middy

I like the Rio Grande BBQ in the bridge position of my SG. I like the overall voicing (fat/dark) and the gain of that pickup in that position. It works really well for my bands style (stoner/heavy rock). But sometimes I wish it could be a little less compressed sounding when I am at home and want to play other things. A little more open, a bit wider frequency response perhaps, a bit less middy. Is there a pickup that suits this description? A pickup that sounds a bit on the dark side, flat in the mids or slightly mid boosted, but also has deep lows and a bit of 'air' to the treble, but definitely NOT too bright/shrill? Or should I just stop complaining and be happy with my sound? ;)

If you remove the cover (if it has one) and hook off the tone pot, you get a clearer tone. Lowerin the height helps too.

Thanks for the response! Yeah, I already lowered it to where it sounds best as is and taking the cover off kinda ruins the look of the guitar, so I don't really want to do that.
