Lil 59/Hot Rails for Tele Question

I want to grab one of these two pickups today, but I have a couple of questions. First of all I plan on coil tapping which ever pickup I get. Which one has the more traditional Tele sound when coil tapped? Also I can't tell from Seymour's website sound clips which one has the best tone when not split. Consider the fact that I don't care for the muddy sound that some humbuckers are famous for. I guess I am trying to ask which of these two pickups has the clearest humbucker tone? Thanks for your help.

well the '59 is a 'paf tone with a hint of tele twang' and the hot rails are just...mean as hell, so i'd say the lil '59 would get you closer when tapped

Lil 59 hands down. It will be clearier than the HR and have some twang. When split it will still sound good.

You might want to move this to the pup lounge. :)

You know I live and work so fast paced that I always forget to place topics in the appropriate place sometimes. I grabbed the Lil 59 on the way to work today. My local shop just happened to have a Tele on the wall with one of these in it I plugged it into a Blues Junior and a Twin and was amazed by how snappy it was. I will be wiring it up tonight....can't wait!!!!
