Lil 59 Set in Black?

I want to put a 3 piece set of Lil 59s in my strat... but I want black. Can the custom shop do that? If not... what would be a good match for the middle position between the Lil 59 Bridge and Neck? The Bridge has a DCR of 11.7 and the neck 9.8. The Cool Rails Bridge is 10.6. That seems like a nice medium but it all depends on how it's voiced too.

I'm going for a Les Paul type sound. I know I won't get it exactly... BUT my strat is a hardtail with a Gibson scale neck... so I got some LP elements going on.

Any advice?

you can get a lil 59 in black easily... do you want black pole pieces?

what do you want to get from the middle pup?

These are available in black, just like all of the single coil-sized humbuckers. You just have to order them that way. No need for the Custom Shop.

Regular pole pieces are fine.

From the middle I guess I just want a nice blend between the two... something that fits in tonally.

If I mixed and matched... you think a Cool Rails bridge would be a good mix for the middle position between two Lil 59's

i think it would sound fine and match up output wise. the neck version would be a little brighter, bridge version a little thicker sounding
