Lil screamin demon question

Will this pickup work out for me in the middle position of my Stratocaster?
Or will it be overkill with the following setup?

I have a hotrails in the bridge and neck positions already and love them.

The Demon should sound very good. It has a different sound than the hot rails which may be a good thing. It's a PAFish type sound (not as scooped as a '59, however) with good highs, decent mids, and solid bass. I would go with the bridge version. The extra output of the bridge model will fit better with your rails and it will tend to fill in some of the mids to help it match the rails tone a little better.

Sounds exactly what I am looking for.

Weird a few sites I buy from, Musicians friend and guitar center don't have this pickup in Bridge-black, only bridge-white.
I would assume they make a bridge-black???
