I'm tapped out on green. Dollars that is. I hope you guys get that run retracked. I love my '79 Series based Trans Green Flametopped Z. With new Chicken head knobs on it even.......

Yup, hope it goes through.

I would go for the Storm V too, but Carlino says no way right now. Possibly after the holidays...so maybe I'll end up with 2!

Man I would sooooooo be all over that if I had the $ :banana: I LOVE flametops in green or blue. I do think it would look better though with the matching headstock or at the least a bound black headstock. I only like the plain unbound black headstock on the traditional burst colors (TCSB, TBZ)

All I can say is, I think you'll be really suprised in a pleasant way how well these MIK 79s play, sound, and are constructed. I've liked every one of them I've handled and both I've owned. I still wish I had the Destroyer, but my 79 ML has proven to be a more than sufficient replacement. Its lightweight, plays great, looks bad@$$, and sounds good. I'm happy with the build, hardware, and electronics. Even the stock pups are acceptable, though with some Duncans or Dimarzios I know it would REALLY sound great :bigthumb: But I've got to wait on that for now :blackeye:

Yeah, I'm gonna push for a bound headstock. I'd prefer chrome over satin hardware too, but we'll see. You know...democracy and all. LOL!

Whelp, it was brought to my attention that some of these people committed to the guitar back in June. So at this point they may not be interested, or have cash, etc etc.

Like the chicken heads huh? Thanks. I went crazy recently and put them on three of my Dean Zs.

Put some on my Dean DOA ML right after I got it. Recently put them on some of my other Deans like my Z Pro, P90 Z, and my Trans Green Z. I like'em on the "Explorer" shape. Haven't done one of my Hamer's yet but it's coming. :27:

As you can see I put Black on the Pro. Cream on Victoria and MGZ.
