hello - my first and oldest guitar is a custom made fender with scalloped neck , wilkinson tremolo and sperzel locking tuners.
when i was 20 years old i like metal and since than i am using HSS EMG Active set (i this it is sav sav 81).
right now i am a few years older (almost twice) and i have more guitars with different sounds.
i have also - custom fender with seymour duncan alnico 2 (slash - forgot the model).
2014 anniversary gibson studio with 489
godin session
al di meola prs with seth lover.
right now i am thinking about getting my first start a "strat" sound - not the emg.
i am thinking about lindy fralin hot vintage - 3 singles.
and now i have a few dillemas - it is warm enough and not too "fender-bright" ?
i love the warmth of the gibson styles sounds and the power that a humbucker gives.
of course i love seymour duncan and i thought about the hot rails but i want a different company not only seymour duncan loaded guitars.
any thoughts you might share ?
thank you very much
