Looking forward to trying these. They are bound to be better than their Spyder amps, and certainly a little more professional. They are really lightweight, too.

I swapped my Roland Micro-Cube for a Katana 50w for low level bedroom playing and it was a gigantic sound improvement (and still usable at 25w for jamming with friends without taking my full setup). But since the cab-sim cannot be disabled, the USB recording is not the greatest IMHO. So tempted to swap my Katana 50 for the Catalyst 100. Will see how it integrates with my HXFX (4CM + midi) in the future.

For people who want lightweight digital versions of classic Line 6 amps from the 1960s?

That demo sounds really good, though.

For people that want access to a few sounds very quickly in a lightweight package that easily interfaces with modern PA systems and DAWs.
