Hi everyone...I thought sharing resources and information could be beneficial to all of us...Here are my thoughts & settings about Line 6 DM-4...
1 - Boost/Comp --> Drive 7,Bass 5,Mid(Comp) 3,Treb 5,Vol 6
Has good clean boost tone with adjustable compressor...good for balancing clean volume when not using od or dist effects...
2 - Chandler Tube Driver --> Drive 6,Bass 7,Mid 5,Treb 5,Vol 6
Great slightly compressed od tone and dynamics like it has 12AX7 inside...One of my favourites,recommended use with neck pickup only...
3 - TS-808 TubeScreamer --> Drive 7,Bass 5,Mid(Tone) 7,Treb 5,Vol 7
Not to mention much everybody knows this one...zero compression with great warm od tone usable with either neck&bridge pups...also keep drive min and vol max for great uncolored input boost...
4 - DOD Overdrive/Preamp 250 -->Drive 6,Bass 5,Mid 5,Treb 5,Vol 7
This one is interesting...personally it does not suit my needs but really has the clipping sound that a cranked amp would have...You may think that it would tear apart the speaker...Could work as a boost but TS-808 boost is much better...
5 - ProCo Rat Distortion --> Drive 5,Bass 5,Mid(Filter)7,Treb 5,Vol 6
This is my favourite...great dist tone also produces wonderful compressed od tone just like the intro in sweet child o'mine...
6 - Boss MT-2 Metal Zone
This is amongst the ones I dislike...It sounds exactly the same as a MT-2 but without the Mid Frequency Shifting...It sounds extremely digital&buzzy...maybe its because my amp is not high gain,should be tried with a higher gain amp...
7 - Colorsound Overdrive
Colorsound brand is good&vintage but this one sounds thin&weak compared to Colorsound Tonebender aka Line 6 Drive...I don't use this one instead I prefer Tonebender...
8 - Maestro Fuzztone(Buzz Saw)
Manual says its Rolling Stones Satisfaction gear but it really didn't satisfy me...as I said it could be from the amp...it sounds extremely trebly hurting your ears like someone is killing your amp...Never will use this one I think...
9 - Arbiter FuzzFace -->Drive 10,Bass 5,Mid 5,Treb 5,Vol 7
Arbiter is one of the best vintage brands in fuzz and I can clearly tell that this gives the best fuzz tone in this modeler...although I don't like this one could change my thoughts...
10 - Vox Tone Bender(Jumbo Fuzz)
Same as Maestro Fuzz Tone...irritating & disturbing sound...
11 - Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi(Fuzz Pi)
I think this sounds better than Maestro Fuzztone & Vox Tonebender but not as good as Arbiter Fuzzface...I don't use this either...
12 - Roland Jet Phaser
Interesting and good phaser tone...could be useful in some songs like No Doubt-its my life...tweaking a little helps getting good sounds...
13 - Colorsound Tonebender(Line 6 Drive) --> Drive 6,Bass 5,Mid 5,Treb 5,Vol 7
Absoultely much more better than Colorsound Overdriver...sounds fuller and crunchier...usable with solos and chords...its more aggressive than TS-808 and TubeDrive also not compressed...
14 - Line 6 Distortion
It's better than MT-2 but again digitized...I used to have Marshall VS-100 and its distortion sounds much more better and real than MT-2 or Line 6 Dist...I really miss it sometimes...
15 - Paia Roctave Divider(Sub Octave Fuzz)
Not really for me but could be interesting to others...
16 - Tycobrahe Octavia(Octave Fuzz)
Easy to use but again not for me same as above...I think it sounds better than Paia Roctave...
Number of pedals I love : 4
Number of pedals I like : 4
Number of pedals I dislike : 5

Overall : I like this modeler...
