I just picked up one of these, taking advantage of the fact that Line 6 just came out with these new Relay models. It sounds great, at least as good as my old Sennheiser unit, and the batteries last forever. The range is not fantastic, but at $130 brand new, I think it's a steal. I also read that the Relay series was based on this technology, so the performance shouldn't be too far off.

Never tried the G30, i wound up getting the G50, its quite nice. i didn't notice any sonic degradation. I was torn between the two, but the 50 won out due to the metal pack as opposed to plastic.
