Re: line 6 guitar port 2.0

this "thing" is the second best thing in the world. the 1st is the line 6pod xp pro!
so yeh basicly u get sum software and you can store your work on this guitar port.
so u could design your own effect, soy auto wah with loads of distortion a little bit of extra sustain some reverb and delay. and you could then stick it onto this port and use the effect you just made up and play with it!! cool huh.

and yes you can record yourself and play over the top or just mime!!! and you can play over any mp3 you want.
if you want 2 buy it. DO SO!! and tell me what you think

waiiiiiiittttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please play on it first!!
ask the shop dude 2 tell u bout it aswell.
also please (for the sake of your tone) consider the line 6xt pro.

Ya... the guitarport is amazing however i find it thoroughly disappointing that they dont have a guitarport version for mac computers. Your basically screwed if you dont have a PC. :(

Re: line 6 guitar port 2.0

guitar port is an excellent tool for learning, recording, playing along or just playing at your desktop without too much trouble.

if you got the cash for an XT you are better off with one because they have the guitar port capabilitie too.

Re: line 6 guitar port 2.0

i got a guitarport also, cant be hapier with it. the POD thingy's have even more features and more amps. the XT is probably the best one on the market right now. the 2.0 being the version before =)
you wont go wrong with it

Dont get the Pro unless you gonna be using it for advanced studio work, The XT pro is the rackmount, only difference is it has XLRs and digital ins and outs and whatnot, same hardware and software but more expensive
