Tone Tweakers unite! I know we got some Line 6'ers here... We got a Line 6 meeting scheduled Friday, November 19th in Burbank at 7pm sharp!

We're gonna have a hands on tonefest with the PODxt LIVE, where you'll be able to give it a spin into different amp options at gig volumes without fighting over the kid next you in a store blasting that Crate amp on 11! We'll
have amps, PA, a stereo Atomic Amp rig on hand. You can also try the Atomics with the PODxt bean on hand as well.

Bring your guitar if you like too! Especially, if your having trouble getting a tone you want. Let us help you dial it in. We can then save it off on a laptop and email it back to you for your playing pleasure.

If any Line6 people are there: push the idea of a harmonizer pack, at least an octaver for the guitar PODxt...and also report on any new products for NAMM!

Line 6 folks are always there. We do it together. There is a harmonizer of sorts on the Vetta. Whether that makes it over to the model packs is unknown. It might have something to do with the Vetta having 2 processors where one is complete used for effects while the other is for the amp modelling.

Can you give any insight as to how well the XTLive would work as a multi-effects processor in front of a real tube amp? In other words, with the amp sims turned off and just using its TS-9 or wah model, how does it sound when compared to running a real TS-9 or Vox in front?

DJS, my buddy who I do the Line 6 meetings with, runs his lapsteel with his XT Live for effects only into a blackface Bassman. Sounds awesome! Also sounds killer running it into an Atomic amp from what I've been told. Can't wait to try that at the meeting.

I havent yet purchased an XT, but I would only get one if I can preplace what I currently use. I use a lot of Octave/Whammy/harmonizer stuff, so I am very interested if they will add it. The Bass Pod has at least an octave effect, so thats a start. Just ask for me, pretty please!

well, how did it go? and what *can* you tell us?
