Line 6 MM-4

Whats the verdict on this thing.
I've already got a Nano Small stone, and i've got a Fulltone Supa-Trem coming in (only cause it was 2nd hand and a good price).
Would i have a need for one of these MMs?
How are the choruses, how is the vibe, how is the rotary sim, the flanger?
Or would i be better off with say a DL4 (i've already got a DD20)
or a FM-4

If you've got a DD-20, you don't need the DL-4, I think it has a few more modeled sounds, but the DD-20 is much more reliable. The MM-4 is good if you need "generic" effects in the Line 6 vein. The are very servicable, useful effects, especially live. You're not going to mistake the Vibe for a real one, but at the same time it sounds like a vibe. IF you need to hit a flanger or a phaser once in a while it's a good buy. If you want really good versions of each effect, buy them spearately (but be prepared to spend ) I've seen an MM-4 on more than one pro board...

The FM-4 is just crazy. It's got a ton of cool filter models, but the same thing holds as with the MM-4. I don't think it sounds exactly like a Mutron, but it's a good envelope filter. Also, things like the SeekWah model only have presets, you can't set it up like you can set each individual control on the origianal.

It's too bad GC only carries the DL-4, demoing is really the way to find out if they are for you.

I see, well the thing is i HAD A CE-2 and although i loved it to bits, i actually never really used it, so i sold it. That's what i'm afraid of if i get the MM. I've got a Fulltone SupaTrem, so i won't be using the MM for a trem. I've got a Nano SS, so i won't need a Phaser. So all i'd use it for is say a vibe, a rotary sim, a flanger and a chorus. I think the FM might be more useful for me in that there's so many unpredictable sounds from it, it'd be great for intro's and such.

I know these sorta digital modellers won't be like the real thing, but how does the FM-4 fare in terms of filters? They would be decent yes? And you can't stack effects can you with these Line 6 things? Only one at a time?
