Does anybody have experience with the Line 6 POD HD 500 with headphones. I would like to know if it sounds good.

Yes Sir....sounds just fine. I prefer the speakers, but for silent practicing, the headphones option works just fine :bigok:

Is there something in particular you're concerned with ?

I have used mine with phones from AKG, Bose and Sennheiser. The Bose didn't work so well, the AKG's were good and the Senn 288's are really good.

Yup I've used mine with headphones heaps. Perfectly usable. Nothing beats cranking it through a speaker though, haha.

I use a 300 to practice. It is a lot to tweak but there are some good sounds once you get the hang of how it works. If you're not gonna play it live, maybe check out the desktop version.

Yes , all the amps ive tried with a headphone input sounds wery bad. No matter what headphones ive used, But I guess because thats just raw material?

Amplifier headphone jacks are genereally pretty useless from my experience.

:?:

I do most of my programming with headphones (Sennheiser HD280). I have no problems with them.
