Line 6 Pod Pro- Which Footswitch?

Hello

I recently purchased a Pod Pro (rack mounted edition) at the bargain price of £200!
I was just wondering what footswitch was best- the FB4 or the Floorboard?
The FB4 is £70 and the Floorboard is £200. Is the Floorboard worth the difference in price?

Cheers

Chris

Welcome to the board man!

Well its up to you really

the FB4 only has 4 patches. thats it.

The full floorboard has a volume pedal, and a wah pedal (both would cost quite a bit to get seperatley) and has the ability to store much more patches, as well as a tuner.

whether or not that justifies the price difference is in your hands :)

Look at the Behringer FCB1010 as well...it works great with a POD and is pretty cheap too.

ive got the floorboard for my POD 2.0, and id say its worth the money. not only do you get the wah pedal and the volume pedal, but you can turn effects on and off within the patches, control the tap tempo with ur foot, you have access to all 32 patches, and you have the tuner accessable on the floorboard too. its a pretty handy peice of equipment to have for the POD, especially if u r gona use it live.

I too have a floorboard with my pod 2.0 and its definitely worth the money!

It will just make using it so much better and the wah pedal sounds amazing!

Its a must for that thing

And cheaply-made :(

I dont think its cheaply made, in fact i think its the total opposite. Ive slammed my floorboard around a bit and its still in great shape. The case is metal and there is nothing flimsy or anything on it.

Perhaps we just get the good stuff here in Australia :newangel:
