Line 6 Relay G50 who has one ?

Re: Line 6 Relay G50 who has one ?

I have tried a friend's, and it worked great. I recently bought a Boss WL-20, so nothing needs an AC cable, and I can charge both transmitter and receiver with a USB cable. But the G-50 worked well and is really easy to use. It easily sounded as good as a cable.

Thanks heard lots of good things.

One drawback seems to be the battery door, not sure how chronic that is.

Re: Line 6 Relay G50 who has one ?

I have a question this unit operates on the 2.4Ghz band and we have a dual band wireless internet router that operates on 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz.

Is there going to be a problem ?

Shouldn't be a problem, everthing has it's own address so it will only talk to its partner.

FWIW, I used an XWire system before Line 6 bought them, that's the tech the L6 ones are built on, it worked great!

My new Boss uses that frequency, and my practice studio has a router next to the monitor, and I don't hear any interference.

The G50 is here. Works fine no issues. Literally right out of the box, no adjustments, just put in batteries and away you go.

Thanks for the support !

Got to play the Friedman JMP/MESA wet/dry rig briefly this morn. Totally Professional sound. Amazing.

Re: Line 6 Relay G50 who has one ?

I have the G30. I like it. I especially like the fact that the transmitter uses a 1/4” plug.

Re: Line 6 Relay G50 who has one ?

I have a g50 and a g55. Sometimes the battery contacts get bent from rechargeables and lose contact if shaken hard. I re bent mine and put a new jack and door on it from full compass. They both work good and are used a lot.
