Line 6 Spider III, making me FURIOUS.

I am currently using it for an amp in my car... one of two. I like it to be clean, obviously, but the clean effects presets when I turn it on are ridiculous. No, Line 6, I DON'T want to hear a flange every time I turn on your amp!
Anyone have any experience with this amp? The manual told me nothing, and I don't wanna have to manually mess with the knobs every time I turn my car on. I should've gotten an amp that doesn't suck, I know, but until I make the money for that, there's not much I can do.

EDIT: I also looked through the Line 6 forums, and they are about as helpful as, I dunno, something not helpful (too hateful to think of a good analogy right now)

Why? I hope you have a huge alternator, you're gonna burn that thing up when the voltage drops. FYI, unless you have an spl competition caliber electrical system (I'm guessing not if you're using a guitar amp in a car) the voltage is not gonna be the 13 or 14 volts you see at idle or part throttle, more like 10 or 11 with dips as low as 8 when there's surges in the music. Do yourself a favor and buy car stereo amplifier, ebay is your friend.
