lipstick pickup in epiphone LP

Anyone ever heard a lipstick single coil on a les paul? I am curious to hear others' thoughts on this idea. Am I crazy or am I heading a good direction. I play thru a vox tube amp and play alternative/indie tunes. I have a C5 which is just awesome.
GFS offers lipstick single coils and humbuckers. I like their sound but I am wondering how it would sound in an all mahogany LP. I want a bright/vintage neck tone.

I would liek some input even if you haven't heard this combo before but are familiar with lipstick pickups

Lipstick p'ups are bright and edgy, almost britlle sounding.

The GFS lipsticks are a different animal... I wouldn't even try'em in a LP.

If you're looking for a suitable GFS p'up for that kind of sound, try the Mean 90 neck. It should pair up well with that Custom 5 of yours.

Mean 90..I heard the mean 90 is very fat almost sounds like a humbucker. How does it compare to the dream 90. Are they jangly
