Little 59 for Tele and Strat similarity

Hey folks,

I'm building Tele and Strat projects as matching pair, and will be using Little 59 bridge pickups on both guitars.

But when I look at the specs of Tele and Strat 59 bridge model, I see, that they do not match even closely. The DC resistance for Tele model is 17K, while for Strat is 11.5K. The DC resistance is not a parameter which discloses the nature of the pickup, but the EQ curve is different as well (see attachment).

I'm familiar with Tele 59 and love it, but have not tried the Strat model.

Who has tried both pickups, comaring them back to back? Do they sound similar, or not?

the tele version is probably wired with a thinner wire gauge hence the higher DCR. my guess is 44 Awg tele, 43 AWG strat version.

probably the same for the quarter pound singles.

why a tele with the bigger bobbin needs a thinner wire gauge is beyond me, but what the hell do i know
