My little brother just had his 20th birthday and the old man and mom took him to GC to get a new guitar... He had left with an ESP LTD MH350NT?????

He said he got it for 650.00 with hard case after the old man haggled. I never played an LTD before and i have to say the LTD he got has EMG 81B and EMG 85N and a neck through...

Its pretty heavy but the action is nice and it plays pretty good. I guess LTD at least this model is a lot better than what i thought LTD could be i thought they were the basement ESP but all in all i think the little Bro got a winner here.

ESP LTD makes a lot of great guitars. They have some crap cheap models, but anything $350+ is great value for the money!

i will have him take some pics when he puts it down. I talked to mom a while ago and she said he has been in the basement for 3 hours just playing and playing. she said she called him up for Chinese take out (his favorite food) and he never came up.

This brings me to something i just thought of. I was out of the house at 17 (college) and hes 20. I realize hes in college but man this kid gets the life. No bills free ride to college and 3 hots and a cot. Maybe this is just me being a bit bitter but man I remember asking the old man to help me get a car at 16 and i got a p.o.s. he drives a G6 WTF?

Oh well he is the baby i guess but i notice all of his friends (the ones i know directly) all live at home his friend Quin is 25 and lives at home and he isnt in college????

Oh well i tracked off the path a bit sorry :)

Lol.. I understand. I have a nephew that lives with my mom and is nearly 30, doesnt go to school, wouldnt go in the service cuz he'd have had to part ways with his beloved reefer. Works when convienient. he is always doing stuff for pleasure, has ran my moms house down, ruined a couple of her computers etc.. drives us nuts... My brother thought I had it easy compared to him and held a grudge till he died. I didnt know it til after the fact tho.

I have a friend at work who's 8 years younger than me who just spent 60 grand on a car, he still lives at home...

i really dont have a grudge against him it actually just hit me, this guys got it easy :) but its my kid brother so :)

Plus i think my mom is happy as can be to have him there because once he moves out just her and the old man... Empty nest..... poor mom :)
