Re: Livewire Metal + Randall brewtallzzzz clipzzz

whats your recording setup? i dont think the tone came across like it was supposed to. sounded really far away or muffled.

Re: Livewire Metal + Randall brewtallzzzz clipzzz

lol, it was with my digital camera, usually I post videos from it but I noticed in windows movie maker you can output just audio so I did that this time.

Re: Livewire Metal + Randall brewtallzzzz clipzzz

no, that's way to hard for too little results.

Your wish is my command: http://media.putfile.com/lol-guitar-only

a little bit more serious this time

I recorded some today...I think the gain 2 knob (which I was using) was all the way down for all these clips, yes...the livewire metal is that insane

this one is scooped all the way: here
this one is with the knobs all the way up: here
and this one is what I recorded before I did that, lol... here

Re: Livewire Metal + Randall brewtallzzzz clipzzz

yeah its interesting what kind of tones youre getting out of the LW metal. i run mine into an eq pedal and then an epi valve jr head and then to the matching cab. I get a tone that reminds me of stuff like sabbath and iron maiden. Thats until i hit the eq pedal and it goes straight into randy rhodes territory! I actually play some slayer type stuff too.

anyway i guess that just shows how versatile the pickup can be. people dont expect that out of a high output active

Re: Livewire Metal + Randall brewtallzzzz clipzzz

If i played metal.... i'd be gettin those pickups and that amp!

Pretty heavy

I dunno man it's always like that :laugh2: I'll try to loosen up more, I've always been kinda "tight" you know, muscles and stuff.

This was with the 81 I think, anyway you might get a kick out of it: here
