Locking nut without screws is on its way!!!

YES! Today I received a notification email about the shipment of this to me:

They say it fits all guitars....I wish I haven't done wrong getting it.....

But whatever it happens I might keep it for the custom project I have in mind....

Retuning without allen wrench....? At last....

Edit: Well I know this kind of threads are usually about guitars that people will have something to say. I made a locking nut appreciation thread:smack: .......But I'm happy as I've been thinking of that quite a long time.

Ah, the old Kahler lock nut. I haven't seen one of those in about 20 years. I thought those types weren't made anymore due to reliability issues. The old ones were known to "unclip" after a while.

Kahler USA (http://www.kahlerusa.com/home.html) have it in their site as 5314
It was one guy in the mid-80s that made it and destributed it but he stopped after a while and then nothing. Now kahler Parts has it and oddly I didn't find anyone else having it. I'll check Yamaha though.

They say it locks behind the nut but.....I'm trying to understand this schematic right now....

Also the tension can be adjusted.....

Edit: Nah this only shows the replacement parts....I think you remove the entire nut and place this in its place or something
