locking tuners for gibson sg

Hey,

im looking for new tuners but dont want to have to drill new holes in my sg standard. which ones will work, i know i need 3+3.

i really like the Grover locking tuners. Easy to use, and the 18:1 tuning ratio is great to work with. They should fit your SG just fine.

If you want to keep with the Kluson-style tuners, the new TonePros locking Klusons are supposed to be really nice.

Then i'd definitely go with the Grovers.

Another good thing about them is that they're quite reasonably priced if you shop around. i got mine for $35.

The Kluson-types are the only tuners that will fit without drilling.

With the Grovers (model 306 is the correct ream IIRC) you will have to drill a small hole JUST BELOW the existing screw hole. I's close, but not close enough.
