Logo on the 59' model

Why do some of the 59' model humbuckers have the seymour duncan logo and some of them dont?

I didnt' realize some of them did. I remember when I bought my '59 I thought I had been ripped off.

The 59 was designed to original PAF specs and look, and thus, doesn't have the logo. It can be ordered with one, however. I believe that bridge or trembuckers do have the logo.

My 59 bridge has a logo, my neck doesn't.

at UGD, evan explained that they'll basically make just about any pickup with or without the logo at the customers request (this includes guitar manufacturers who use SDs as OEM pups) ... the only matter will be how long one has to wait for the pup to wind its way along the factory floor if they arent making that pickup that way at the moment

Yep, you can get one with a logo no problem and there is no upcharge.
