I am very new to all of this. Thanks for your help and clarifying abbreviations that may not be obvious to a newbie.
Single coils are stock Seymour Duncans (maybe Texas specials? I cannot remember off hand, but this is an older model Lone Star Strat). I changed humbucker to P-rail.
I had this working, but the triple shot toggle closest to neck didn't seem to do anything, so I am wanting to double check my work. Also, I have a couple of questions:
1) When I removed my pickguard, the white wire from the TS must've come loose, and I believe it was connected to volume, but directions say connect it to 5-way selector switch, but does not specify exactly where on the 5 way switch to connect it.
2) I'm looking at my humbucker (P-rail now) tone pot and it is a 250k. I swear I remember something about needing a 500k for humbuckers. I have a 500k (I harvested from my old Kramer Focus 6000 when I dropped in a coil tap pot) but not sure if I need to rewire. What is in this guitar is what it came with--I know I've never changed out a pot on this thing. Would I do well to put the 500k in? And if so, do I need different capacitor and/or different wiring? Trying to attach a pick to this post.

So, I'm looking for the ability to go from bluesy to driving rock (thus the P rail and tripleshot) and have a bit of flexibility with the P-rail but without putting in a coil-tap volume pot.
No clue if I have the terms correct here.
Thanks y'all
Jon
