long legg pickups

im going to be buying a tb jb and a 59 the guitar strat has pickguard .do these pickups come in short legg and long legg if so which one do i need

If it is a Strat, you would use short legs usually. The JB comes with short legs. The 59 does not, but can be ordered with short legs through the Shop Floor Custom program (through any SD dealer). Some Strats are deep enough to use long leg pickups, but I've seen a few that aren't, so I try to get short ones.

TBs come only shortlegged, there is no long leg baseplate for TBs on the market afaik.

Or, you can buy the regular long-legged 59 and replace the baseplate with a short-legged one.
