Hi guys,
Do you think the custom shop can make a backplate for a trembucker with long legs? I ripped out the True Duo pickups from my 2011 Ibanez S and they are HUGE. measurements wise, it looks like a backplate on a normal thickness hum bucker would give me the right depth. Otherwise, I'd need to shim the 1/4" in difference with some wood or something. The bridge is trembucker spaced however, so a standard backplate w/long legs for an LP won't do - the holes for the screw coils would be in the wrong place.
What to do what to do? Maybe I can otherwise get a standard backplate and drill it out - but it might be easier just to ask.
