Well I have made some progress on the body and neck. Still need to do the bridge, control cavity, and PU routs, as well as the tummy and forearm cuts. I have routed for the neck and gotten the FB glued on as well as don the preliminary peg head face scooping. Although these pics wont show this.

Will add some more soon. Hope you like, John

Thanks Kramersteen. Here are a few more pics, wish they were better, I took them with my phone. Some are mock ups. Drilled the tuner holes and vol and tone pot holes tonight. If I don't get any service calls tomorrow I will get the templates made for the control cavity and cutting the switch slit. I should also get a start on making the neck/FB radiusing machine. I will do a separate post for that.

Re: Long over due Guitar Build Update!

Thanks guys, it is very much appreciated. It is Koa, a wood from Hawaii. Doing one with figured walnut in place of the Koa would be nice also. No, I have don very little laminating so far. I did make some more progress yesterday and today. I got the templates made for doing the control cavity, switch slit and switch recess, and I used them.

Not sure what I am going to use for the control cavity cover. I could use Koa which would match the body, Maple which would match the neck and stripe in the body, or I could use Bocote which would match the stripe through the body and neck and the FB. I'm thinking of the Bocote.
