I cant seem to find it. The only place I know that carries the long shafts is Fulltone.

Long shafts being for the les paul guitars that have that metal plate in the control cavity? Or do other guitars require long shafts as well?

My bad I was thinking Long Pole DPDT footswitches. The long poles are good for crybaby's and vox wahs. My bad, I need to get to bed, my reading ability is fading quickyl tonite.

I think they're primarily used in Les Paul's, as well as a few guitars with very thick tops. I know LP guys have been wanting these forever, it looks like Allparts finally got some made.

Thanks for the heads up! I believe that AllParts had been selling a p-p pot like that before, but the switch was SPST, which severely limited your wiring options. This is much better and the price is reasonable.

500K Push/Pull Audio Pot, 3/4" Long Threaded Bushing, Split Shaft, DPDT

I've been able to get regular pots to work in some of the "flat" LP's- like a LP Jr and one of the LP Jr Specials. As for the "real" Les Pauls if you remove the ground plate you might be able to fit a regular pot for the bridge tone control but for the other controls you definitely need a pot with a long bushing.
